Watch Sesame Grow, week 29

Edition: The photographer was experimenting with angles
Size of baby: About the size of a butternut squash. It's obviously getting bigger because sometimes I can feel it hanging out on one side of my stomach and then it pokes me on the other side.
Size of mother: I have no new comments to make on this topic.
What's on the menu: We're back to Doritos.
Worst part of the week: The three hour glucose test. I got the drink down, but I HATED not being able to eat for hours and hours AND having four blood tests within three hours. I barely survived without getting sick but I did so as a reward we went to PF Changs for dumplings. I ate more sweets than usual over the weekend just in case I was told to put a lid on the sugar.
Best part of the week: I received this email from the doctors office a few hours ago: "Sarah, Great news---your glucose values were all normal!!!"
Other things I have to say: The lady teaching the childbirth class wants me to fill out a paper listing everything I eat each day because she's all about high protein counts. You know what makes me feel guilty about eating so many potato chips? Having her know. It's especially awkward after listening to her give a speech last week about the importance of good nutrition during pregnancy. If she says anything about it tomorrow, I'll tell her my doctor said the quality of the food is more important than the quantity and my potato chips are made from the HIGHEST QUALITY potato.

I threw up 1.5 hours into the 2 hour test with Wells (after coordinating babysitters and the sort for the other two ) and had to re-do the rest and get re-poked 4 times. Pregnancy blows.... But then the baby comes, and you forget it all...until someone reminds me via blog that you threw up at your last glucose test.

But really, sesame is worth it :)

Oh, I hate writing down what I ate for the doctors, too. With K, I wasn't gaining enough supposedly (at first) and so everything was fried or chocolate or both ;) THAT caught up to me.

You passed! Wahoo! Bring on the ice cream sundae with hot fudge! What? Oh that's just me who wants that.
