Dear Noah,

Here it is your birthday. Again. Haven't I been telling you to stop growing since the day I first held your one-week old self? I can't believe that today you're 10{10!}. I don't take forgranted the Sundays you ask to sit next to me at church{even though you whisper and wiggle}or the times you ask me to play catch with you{even though you know I'm not the greatest}because I know the day may come when you might not think of me as your "best buddy". When I was watching you at your baseball game a few weeks ago, I couldn't believe how much you've grown. You're not that chubby baby anymore but I still love you just as much. Don't grow too fast or you'll be too old to be my ring bearer{granted, it could be 12 years before I actually get married, but that's beside the point}. I've said it before but I'll say it again: I wouldn't hesitate to marry you if it wasn't for the slight age-difference.

You'll always be my best buddy.
I love you.
